NEXO Intensive Recovery Companion
Recovery in the environment where life actually happens.
When a situation is complex, knowing what needs to change is not always enough. NEXO Intensive Recovery Companion brings structure, support and coordination into the everyday environments where old patterns often reappear.

The gap
Knowing what needs to change and living differently are not the same thing.
Treatment insight, intention and motivation are real. But daily life arrives with decisions, stress, access, familiar environments, relationships and unstructured time. Relapse is not simply a failure of willpower — often it is the distance between what is understood and what the environment allows a person to sustain.

- 04The living environment is high-risk
- 05There is frequent travel
- 06There are high-pressure professional responsibilities

- 09Discreet, individualised support is needed
Appropriateness is determined after a confidential consultation and, where necessary, clinical evaluation.
Safety first
Sometimes another level of care needs to come first.
In these situations, emergency or appropriate clinical services take priority. NEXO may become involved later as part of continuity and reintegration.
If you or someone close to you is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
The exit plan
The goal is independence — not permanent dependence on support.
As stability, responsibility and confidence increase, support intensity should reduce. The objective is sustainable independence.
NEXO principle
Structure should eventually become independence.
Not every situation requires intensive companionship. The first step is understanding what the situation actually requires.
Confidentiality is maintained within applicable legal, clinical and safety requirements.
